Lucena, Quezon Food Trip 4/4: Sadik Grill

Sadik Grill is located along Osmena St., Lucena City, Philippines. I really like its location coz it's on the corner of the street and the place is a bit small, which makes it look so cool just sitting there. If I were to have a bar, I would like to have a similar location :)

Technically we just came here to grab some beer and chill the night off so I wasn't able to taste the interesting food on their menu. But I'll definitely go back here if I visit the area again.

Tofu Teriyaki. This is something off menu. Tofu cooked as how I like it, crispy on the outside and soft and tofuey inside. Perfect with rice but we had it with beer.

I just got some snaps of the catchy interior coz we stayed outside to have some natural air. Here's a glimpse of the place.

Lucena, Quezon Food Trip 3/4: Red Samurai (Japanese Asian Cuisine)

Photo taken from their Facebook page
I'm not a fan of Japanese food but I'm always curious of what authentic ramen tastes like so I try it every time I have the chance. Here's a glimpse of our simple dinner at Red Samurai.

The Food

Hokaido Miso Ramen (Php 208)

Vegetables, corn, pork cooked in miso and noodles. This is soooo good. The miso gave it this thick broth. Everything just blended perfectly! I remembered the taste while I was signing the pictures, what a challenge!

Mango Roll (Php 178)

Vegetable Tempura (Php 108)

I expected more because of it's price.

The Place

I highly recommend their ramen. Perfect for a cold day! :)

Lucena, Quezon Food Trip Part 2/4: Luisa & Daughter Restaurant

Luisa & Daughter Restaurant gave me impression that it was a diner from the outside but it gave me that homely feeling upon entering the place. We came here on a Sunday afternoon and surprisingly we had the place to ourselves. Food was good, place was cozy.

They have a variety on their menu which makes me want to try every bit of it. Pizzas, burgers, viands, desserts.

The Food

Longganisa Lucban Php 100

I won't leave Quezon without tasting their sausage of course. And this meal went beyond my expectations. Longganisa was deep fried til it became toasted to the core. Genius! Four pieces of it served with atchara, sunny side up egg, and garlic rice. A breakfast meal available all day.

Tofu with Eggplant (Php 115)

This is so oriental. The tofu's texture just kills me, YUMMY!!!

Thai Pancit (Php 150)

Simply amazing. Peanut sauce and the wrapper for me are the main event of this dish. It's technically fresh lumpia with sotanghon noodles inside.

Adobo Button Mushroom (Php 105)

Served sizzling and can't get enough of it. I limit my mushroom intake coz they said it makes you dizzy. Not quite sure if that's a fact but I won't take the risk :)

Cheese Tarts. I think this was around Php 25 a piece, wasn't able to list it down. It was good but I thought the center was like leche flan kind of stuff, but it was pastry all the way.

Here are the rest of the displayed pastries and a glimpse of the place.
