Mother's Day Special

Every mom deserves a treat on Mother's Day. Instead of going through the hassle of eating out, home cooked meals is a better option. Aside from it's cheaper than restaurant food, a dash of TLC makes it more yummier. Simple dishes over some conversation with my family is the perfect treat for this day.

Creamy mac and cheese, plus fresh veggie salad with savory chicken for the main entree.

After a hearty meal comes a creamy-licious Graham cake made by my nephew. A fruity and sweet tooth quencher dessert.

Grand finale, Choco Almond Fudge ice cream! Perfect for the summer heat while satisfying the chocolatey craving of that palate.

To all the mothers out there, Happy Mother's Day! :)

  1. You're right. Home cooked meals for Mother's Day is a good idea. Cheaper and also less stress for Mom. No need to suffer the traffic and the big crowds outside.

I miss Selecta! Mother's Day here is celebrated during March so I just made macaroni and salad for a little celeb =)

My son would love a plate of your mac n' cheese

  3. Although I always eat out, I love enjoying a nice home-cooked meal too.. :) Especially when there's an occasion, it's nice to stay indoors and feast on food we ourselves prepared. Anyhow, the graham cake looks so yummy!

  4. Wow! I miss my mom. If I was there, I would cook for her just like you did.

I so miss Selecta ice cream, the mango flavor. We do not have mango flavoured ice cream here in Sweden. :(

Happy mother's day to your mom and mine!
